WFD seeks new Executive Director

The World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) has opened applications for a new Executive Director to lead its global mission of advancing the human rights of deaf people through sign languages.

The role calls for a strategic, values-driven leader with at least five years of senior management experience, proven success in leading distributed teams, and securing funding from diverse sources. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to deaf-led leadership and excellence in building international partnerships, from UN agencies to grassroots organisations.

WFD has partnered with Innivee Strategies, a deaf-owned and led U.S.-based firm specialising in mission-driven leadership recruitment, to manage this search.
